What to wear in Prague? (summer)

11:45:00 AM

This summer I got to visit the extremely lovely city of Prague (finally!). Lucky me someone who lives in southern Europe and was tired of our summer 38º degrees day and 20º night, I was hoping the weather in Prague would be around 25º degrees- and it turned out to be the hottest summer in the Czech Republic (heatwave, so lucky).

Here you have our 3 outfits. We do not like animal prints, as you can see. Sleeveless shirts saved our day, since we died thanks to our long hair and jeans. A was wearing a leopard printed shirt and khaki linen trousers, together with a lovely blue Guess handbag and sandals
N chose to wear pepe jeans  star jeans (not the best option for a hot summer day, she so regreted it later), a casual white shirt and a big Tous handbag.
L wearing Zara animal print blouse and leather shorts from Mango (warning: I am super obsessed with this Catalan firm), together with a beige brown and gold (are there any other colours?) Guess handbag.

Next we have my fabulous idea of wearing a long and heavy WHITE dress to walk like for a thousand hours. It took 50% of my attention to constantly check I was not stepping on it and worrying for the not-longer-white end of the dress, which took all the dust from the street. I combined this Mango dress along with a leather belt and sequin sandals. As you can see behind... we were not the only ones expecting a bit of cold weather ;)

After learning the lesson, we decided to change our hairstyle (read grab and do a ponytail / braid) and wear summer dresses. N wore a cute light blue dress from Zara and I choose the oh-so-original basic LBD.

How were your holidays? Have you ever visited the Czech Republic? I must confess I fell in love with the city and would like to go back and travel around the country once I successfully speak its language (like... a million years from now?)
