Adolfo Domínguez Faux Fur Coats

Adolfo Domínguez is a Spanish designer. Influenced by Japanese designers, he entered the fashion world in Spain in 1976 opening his first store in Ourense (northern Spain). IN 1986 he was recognized across Europe, his collections were shown at Wagram Hall in Paris and Casa de Campo in Madrid, and sold at retail temples like Harrods. The 90s were the years of his international growth, and today his firm has over 500 stores worldwide.

I always find something I like on his store, you can find anything you might be looking for. Sometimes you need something dressy for an event, others you just want office wear, or classy. I have bought several items from this designer and they don't have anything in common (animal print boots, light blue and gold belt, pencil skirt, casual shirt, etc.).

This season we are all in search of a coat and browsing on AD website I found some faux fur coats which might be of interest. Some of them are reversible so if you do not want to wear fur on a rainy day you have a second option, which is also waterproof.

Reversible
This collarless coat has fur on this side but can be very different, the other side is quilted nylon. It is fastened with snap buttons and the nylon coat has pockets too (149€).

Same style but a bit longer and more serious, this coat has the nylon 2nd side too and is fastened with snap buttons. Crewed neck, slant pockets and a matching stole for the neck (240€).

Non-reversible

This shawl-neck coat crafted in eco-suede  has also a faux fur lining. It has a double snap-button fastening in the front, a matching wrap belt and front pockets. This one's longer and of course the color is more lau.

Last, this eco-suede coat featuring faux fur lining looks the same in a lighter color. It has two side slant pockets in the front, and the belt makes it look more lady-like (280€).

What is your winter style this year? Which coat would you wear?
