Into the wild

They say leopard print is hard to style unless you want to make a statement. So how can you style it simple and give all the attention to an accessory? I am one of those who feels rather comfortable wearing leopard print and when doing so, do not go loud. When visiting my absolute favourite place in Barcelona with my friend N,  I went for a rather rocker look combining leopard and dark leather items.

There is a majestic place which can be seen from almost anywhere in the city, and stands up above us, guarding Barcelona. Not only that, if you decide to go up there, it offers you one of the best views of the city you could think of. I am talking about the temple next to Tibidabo, Temple del Sagrat Cor (Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor de Jesús).

This is basically, the Barcelona Sacré Coeur you have in Montmatre, Paris. This place stands there guarding the city and anytime you are downtown it's quite easy to spot it. I suggest you walk around Rambla de Catalunya both at night and morning, and see how the view changes but Sagrat Cor remains stunning, lightened up at night.

Wearing a long sleeved leopard print dress and biker jacket which pull out together a rather rocker look, with dark booties by Pepe Jeans I wear on a daily basis. This dress is quite versatile as I can wear it both at work, friend meetings and even parties, it always depends on how you wish to combine things. At the beginning I was wearing this big chain bag, which comes with a zipper and has a little pocket inside, and enough space to carry many things. Afterwards I decided to leave the big bag in the car and carry around a small one. I chose this round tassel leather bag, which has a golden metal ring to hold but can also be worn as a crossbody bag.

Info on Temple del Sagrat Cor:

  • Opens from 11 to 18h, except for Summer months (11-20h).
  • How to get there: T2A bus or T2B (or you can go by car, which is the best option).

Entrance is free but if you want to take the elevator and enjoy the views, the price is €3,50. The views are great, just be sure it's not a cold and windy day or else you will face some fights like I did when the wind tried to blog my scarf, sunnies and dress away.

  5. Every time I see a woman in leopard print I think it gives off confidence. It is like she's looking at the world, telling them she looks great, and doesn't care if they agree or not. I love that look.
